The work consists of below grade steel reinforced substation, with all ancillary facilities, including ventilation flues, ingress, egress stairways and connection to the tracks. Substation will integrate the Canal Street and 28th Street Substations, into NYC Transit Zone 6 and Command Center at 53rd Street.
