In keeping with its reputation as a leader in high technology engineering services, Conti Professional Services continues to utilize a large inventory of automated equipment this summer with the use of a Gomaco 9500 grade trimmer outfitted with a Trimble guidance system at the Outer Loop Highway and Bridge job in Fayetteville, NC.

Conti Professional Services announced today that it is rolling out a drone-based mapping system as part of its plan to be at the forefront of construction technology. The new system is able to map construction sites, track progress, and measure earthwork quantities.

The most recent calculation of Conti’s safety statistics has shown continuous improvement for the past five years with OSHA Experience Modification Rates (EMR), Days Away, Restricted or Transferred (DART) Rates, and Recordable Incident Rates trending down. To date, Conti crews have worked a total of 359,328 man-hours on 49 projects with no Lost Time Incidents.

Conti employees laced up their sneakers this month to participate in raising awareness and fundraising at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and Amy’s Run/Ride/Walk against Pancreatic Cancer. Conti’s employee volunteers participated in both races in support of the cure for cancer and to help raise awareness and funding for research.

Conti Professional Services announced today that its Engineering Manager, William Lages, has earned accreditation from the US Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Associate. This professional credential distinguishes Lages as an expert in green building design and construction. He will go on to earn the LEED Accredited Professional accreditation within the next 12 months.
